Blazers I thought it would be good to write a post about what is new to PlayStation after the E3 this year.

I had saved the PlayStation showcase video via my YouTube Channel earlier this year and only got around to watching it now.

What Sony has planned for their PlayStation platform looks amazing the big gaming studios have been given the bigger pushes. We are going to see games like The Last of Us Part II, Spiderman and Ghost of Tsushima and Ghost of Tsushima.

A fresh Look Resident Evil 2 for the PlayStation 4 platform. A different type of game that came from 505 Games the makes of Max Payne their new dive into the PS4 platform is a game called Control.

We have an addition to Call of Duty and we have new maps and lots of fun in that department although this type of gamer is not my cup of tea.

We have more Kingdom of Hearts games this time linking to Disney’s Captain Jack Sparrow and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

New PlayStation VR Games and finally a new God of War game.

It seems this year we have a lot to look forward too.

The Last of Us Part II

E3 2018 saw the world game-play premiere for the sequel to Naughty Dog’s acclaimed action adventure. Watch the incredible trailer now and see new combat and stealth mechanics in action, as well as a revamped animation system that fully express Ellie’s desperation, resourcefulness and agility.

Not only that, but the new trailer also introduces two key new characters: Dina, played by Shannon Woodward, and Jesse, played by Stephen Chang.

Ghost of Tsushima

Following its spectacular reveal at Paris Games Week 2017, here’s your first look at game-play from the new action adventure game from the team behind infamous: Second Son.

Set during the Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274, expect exotic locations, brutal Mongol invaders and thrilling katana combat.

Death Stranding

Visionary creator Hideo Kojima returned to E3 with a fresh glimpse at his enigmatic new PS4 title.

As well as showcasing gameplay footage, the trailer unveils two new members of the cast, with ‘70s screen icon Lindsay Wagner and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol star Léa Seydoux joining Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo Del Toro.

Resident Evil 2

Get a fresh perspective on a survival horror classic in Capcom’s stunning remake of Resident Evil 2 for PS4.

Follow Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy as they fight their way through hordes of the undead in an effort to escape Raccoon City. With incredible visual fidelity and new twists and turns, 25th January 2019 cannot come soon enough.


New from 505 Games and Max Payne/Alan Wake studio Remedy, Control is a supernatural action-adventure with a memorable cast of characters and a twisted story from Creative Director Sam Lake.

Step into the shoes of heroine Jesse Faden as she does battle with supernatural forces in a mysterious New York skyscraper known as the Oldest House.
