Movie Reviews: Jason Bourne (2016)

After a very long time, I decided to get back into the Bourne series and well the reason it was hard was when they did the Bourne Legacy and it was acted by Jeremy Renner/Hawkeye. I just could not see someone else in the lead role although he was a different character.

This new instalment well as of 2016 has brought back the fire in the movie series again because it’s following the original storyline.

Although this is connected to the series this movie is on its own a great part and a kinda origin story.

We meet Julia Syles character and she brings back Jason Bourne and the rollercoaster ride starts again and once you are on you do not stop.

The movie is very long over 2 hours but totally worth your time.

The action is well done the cast all play their roles to a tee and when you have this high standard you have a great movie.

Having Julia Stiles, Matt Damon, Tommy Lee Jones, Vincent Cassel and Alicia Vikander. A strong A class cast carried the movie from beginning to end.

This is not a spoiler but all you know is that Vincent Cassel plays a really good bad guy.

This is what defines a good action-adventure spy flick that is suitable for well older kids to adults it is raised PG-13+

The Bourne series is a movie series that I would even state would be worth purchasing although The Bourne Legacy was a strange part.

Matt Dameon even helped in producing this instalment of the series.

There are twists and turns in the movie but nothing to really make you think it’s just following your nose and enjoy a good 2-hour movie to escape reality.

You have three countries in this movie Germany England and the US an international flavour of sorts.

The question is will we see another instalment of this series and I hope so depending on if the writing of the movie is at this high level.

If you have not watched any of the Bourne movies well start watching them.

Ohh the last 30mins turns into a Fast and Furious car chase but totally worth it.

Add this to your list and watch it.
