For my Sunday afternoon movie, I decided to watch one of the free movies that PLEX provides I had this on my Watchlist and I decided it was time to give it a go.
Skin Trade is a movie about Human Trafficking and this is the second movie I have watched about this subject matter this movie does not pull any punches it’s very in your face from the start and you have to be ready.

Skin Trade goes down that line again and could be a twin sibling of movies about this subject matter.

The movie has a strong cast starting with Dolph Lundgren and Tony Jaa. Ron Perlman, Michael Jai White, Celina Jade & Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa
This movie was true to the storyline and added realism where there needed it to be the rest of the movie was full of action and they did an awesome blend of action with the skill set of Dolph, Tony & Michael the only thing that was missing was a three-man fight with all three involved would have liked to see all three different styles fight and see how it would blend. kinda like a strange MMA fight.

The movie was filmed what seemed to be some of it in the USA and the second half was filmed in Thailand it seems that Tony Jaa has worked on his English and he has spoken English in this whole movie which is awesome as this gives him more opportunities to break into the other English speaking markets. Tony Jaa has come a long way from the three Ong Bak movies.

As advised this subject matter is not for all and I do not recommend this for all but honestly it’s something that we should all know about and never forget.
Before the credits start the movie ends by advising that Human Trafficking affects mostly women and children and it’s as high as 98%. A sad statistic that I wish we could do more about to reduce to 0% You cannot put a value or show no value on a human life.
I hope they make a second part to this movie.
I give it a 7.5/10 not suitable for the kids.
