We were tossing up between Netflix and Disney+ and Disney+ won on this occasion.

We chose the latest Agather Christie novels turned into a feature film.

I have to say straight away that Death on the Nile has to be my favourite yet, It has so many twists and turns that you really are guessing till the very end.

I picked my killer early on and chose Dawn French’s character just because it would be the most unlikely if they went that way.

I loved the cast a really good ensemble Tom Bateman Annette Bening Kenneth Branagh Russell Brand Gal Gadot just to name a few.

As we all know the story is about a who killed who and it happens in Egypt and it’s on a boat on the Nile.

Also, no one walked like an Egyptian in this movie although it had some great scenery.

As mentioned it has a lot of twists and turns and more than the single death and this is more about love and loss than just your normal murder mystery. You can say it has a Sheakspearean twist to it.

The costume and set design are beautiful it’s really set well.

The movie goes for just over two hours and you are always connected to the movie although I tried to mobile game at the same time it really made me put my phone down and pay attention.

As mentioned this movie has more than one death and does have swearing and a tad more violence than expected but it was all done because the story called for it and it’s a really high-quality flick that is not suitable for the kiddies mummy and daddies only.

I would even go as far as saying this movie is worth purchasing and keeping in your collection.

I give it a 10/10

Until my next review happy viewing…
