I am back after a two-week break and just this morning I managed to finish the second season of DC’s The Flash.

I have to say only after two seasons the first spinoff show from the Arrowverse The Flash after two seasons can stand on its own feet and really pack a punch and momentum I really like The Flash.

Both initial seasons and season two especially pull on the emotional heartstrings.

The Flash really draws you in and you get invested emotionally and you could watch like I did binge watch four episodes back to back and only if I really was not feeling tired I would have finished the show last night after midnight but I was a good little boy and went to be just at midnight.

The Flash keeps you on your toes and when you think you know what’s going to happen it changes flips and goes a completely different direction The Flash being more science fiction and has a lot more leeway to go into the out-of-this-world phenomenon can take you back and forward in time and you do not just have to go after normal human bad guys but you go after metahumans and they are not sponsored by Facebook 🙂 lol

There is a lot of loss in season 2 without giving away too many spoilers but you really are left thinking after what happens at the end of season 2 what can they do to make it better and the different directions the show can go.

Most of the show is fast-paced so you never sit waiting for the story to progress and before you know it the show is over in A Flash!

The love story between Barry and Iris is a Sci-Fi version of Ross and Rachel with more emotion I feel throughout the season than the one or two episodes or real emotion you see from friends.

The cast really gels well together and they never skip a beat.

In this season the team has to deal with Earth 2 metahumans and the main Bad Guy called Zoom. The big question is, Is Zoom Faster than The Flash, or is The Flash faster than Zoom?

Add this to your list if you have not already you will never be disappointed. I will watch another show after this just to change things up but when this show finishes I really would say I would buy the box set.

A fun show 8/10
