MOVIE REVIEWS: Bloodshot 2020 (PLEX)
Before getting back to the non-English TV series that I am watching on Netflix The Glory a series that my Wife and I wanted to watch together but end up watching separately because we watch our foreign movies differently from each other. I thought it was a good time to watch something off my Plex server and well it’s a no-brainer action flick that has the king of the Fast & Furious franchise Mr Vin Desiel. Vin plays a human cyborg kinda like an upgraded T1000 from Terminator but with robotic blood cells that regenerate his body so he cannot die.
I hope everyone had a fantastic Long Easter Weekend and you spent it with your family and friends and lots of chocolate eggs. After the break it’s about time I get back into watching some great or not-so-great movies and review them for you my audience I bet to hang on my every grammatically correct word in my movie reviews. lol 🙂

Ray Garrison Vin Desiel is a killed In Action soldier that is brought back to life through reanimation the first forty mins are kinda like groundhog day or like Edge of Tomorrow and you see repeated actions but it does make sense and is worth watching as the first time Ray is animated you are taken on the journey from his eyes and is done well although this movie is worth a one time watch not really any rewatch value as once you understand what’s going on there is no real let me go back and figure out what happened and why the director went this way.

Truth be told this kinda technology could be closer than you think depending on if you think that blood-cell type organisms that are robotic could be entered into your body and make you heal and make you a God mode-killing machine that has nothing to lose except to make sure that they can complete the killing machine.

Bloodshot for a movie that came out in 2020 is not that bad considering these movies that have come out since then are pretty much the same only just with a slightly different story but the medical science fiction is the same.
I found Bloodshot a good movie that gave you escapism for less than two hours and I did not really look at my watch or phone it had my attention for the less than two hours it went for.
This movie has an Aussie connection with Guy Pearce playing the evil Doctor scientist that well causes the problem and this is how the story carries on and makes it interesting.
The movie is only PG 13 and besides scientific violence, there is nothing to make it believable at any stage. If you want to bring kids to the movie I would say with parental guidance from 10 and above.

A movie that I did not expect much from and had low expectations but turned out to be better than I expected. A very blokey movie was not sure if I would say this is a date movie something to watch with the buddies in the man cave.
