MOVIE REVIEWS: BOMBSHELL (NETFLIX) 2019

I have had bombshell the movie on my Netflix list well for a while now and OH MY GOD!! it is a bombshell. A very powerful well true story that did happen and affected not only the many many women but their families as well. Let’s get the devils argument out there earl and say yes there are women that want to sleep their way up to the top but it does not mean this is for the vast majority nor is it for those women that actually don’t mind and do sleep their way to the top they would not want to be forced to be making that choice. How this is not seen as internal human trafficking that occurs on home grounds is just amazing.

TV SHOW REVIEWS: TULSA KING: SEASON 1 (2022) PARAMOUNT+

Tulsa King’s first episode has to be one of the best episodes I have ever seen to start off a story and to me, it was as good as any feature film kept you guessing until the end of the episode and your jaw is left on the floor and you will binge this till the end if you can. The first season is only 9 episodes long and goes for only over 30mins long reach episode is worth it but the first has to be one of the best I have seen. Is there an award for the best Pilot for a tv show?

MOVIE REVIEWS: I Came By 2022 (NETFLIX)

The story is about 2 young youths that want to change the world and make a name for themselves due to some life-changing events they do not go down the same path and one continues the fight against the affluent high-brow society that thinks they are untouchable. You could say this could be a true story but it’s not from what I have read online it does seem to be a fictional story that is excellently told and makes your mind boggle on the true dark nature of how evil humanity can become.

TV SHOW REVIEWS: The Reluctant Traveler: SEASON 1 (2023) aPPLE tv

We follow Eugene around the world in his reluctant manner to travel and well in a way you can see why is reluctant to travel it’s not only because he is scared of air travel of any type but because this mini-series from Apply TV throws Eugene in exotic travel locations that put him out of his comfort zone to the point that he is a very simple man that in two episodes he goes for simplistic food one in the Maldives he asks for a cheeseburger and in Tokyo Japan, he finds an egg salad sandwich shop that his son raves about and its called an American sandwich over there and it’s supersized

DOCUMENTARY: Jennifer Aniston: More Than Friends (2020) PLEX

I am a fan of Jenifer and watch everything I can find with her good or bad or indifferent. I feel that this documentary did an ok to average job putting Jennifer in a good light which is not a bad thing however it felt more like a puff piece of documentary and it had one major piece missing and that was instead of just having video recordings of Jennifer from her interviews and from pop culture historians retelling Jenbifers story it would have been better to see if you could get Jennifer to take part in this documentary

MOVIE REVIEWS: The System (2022) plex

The System stars Tyrese Gibson from the Fast and Furious saga and also if you remember him from Baby Boy. Tyrese plays Savage an ex veteran that gets done by the cops and is put in prison for trying to steal from a drug house, you may wonder why he would have gone to the drug house to steal from the drug house well he has a little girl that needs medication and the way that the US medical system works its expensive to get the med needed for his little girl’s health issues.

TV SHOW REVIEWS: SEX/LIFE: SEASON 2 (2023) R+18 NETFLIX

As soon as season 1 was released it was a smash hit for Netflix and not long after bang we hit another climax with the release of season 2 early this year in 2023. We are thrown back into Billie and Sasha’s world of love, lust, marriage, and infidelity and all around this is more than just a show you watch for the graphical adult content. I would classify the second season as a cross between Sex & The City meets fifty shades of Grey.

STAND UP: Chris Rock: Selective Outrage (2023) NETFLIX

What makes this show great is that he is talking about life experiences that he has had and or his family has gone through and in a very smart way he discusses the freedom that he has got after his divorce from his wife but at what cost it comes to him and not just because he lost his house in the divorce but he discussed the small things that women do for their man and he used changing pillow cases as a simple but true example of the small things that make a big difference that as men we take for granted.
