Christmas time has come and gone and we still have Christmas and New Year’s sales in Australia until Wednesday this year.
I have managed to get my hands on the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones that came out earlier this year and they were on special during the Boxing Day sales.
I decided to buy a new pair because my young son decided to destroy the foam in my current headphones ear peices which were mid-range Sony Headphones that were SONY LE WH-CH700N.
I still plan to fix the SONY LE WH-CH700N and I may even make a future video on how I managed to fix the earpieces on these headphones.
I managed to buy the Sony XM4’s from JB Hi-Fi on special for AUD$344 and I was even lucky to manage to try the Sony XM5’s during the Christmas and Boxing Day sales they go for AUD$499 from JB Hi-Fi. For you in North America, you can get these or similar deals from Best Buy.
I found the sound quality and ease of use and set up and configuration like my mid-range Sony headphones and even though you are advised to download the headphone app you honestly do not have to you can just pair them using the normal Andriod Bluetooth settings on your phone.
The XM4s work both with Apple and Andriod and I feel are the best high-quality headphones good money can buy this year or next until the XM5s come down in price.
